Welcome friends to Poetry Friday! I'm thrilled to be your host this week. Today I'm sharing a bit of Robert Frost. He's the one poet I revisit every fall. Whether it's
Gathering Leaves,
Nothing Gold Can Stay, or
After Apple Picking, Frost puts me in the mood for my favorite season.
October
by Robert Frost
O hushed October morning mild,
Thy leaves have ripened to the fall;
Tomorrow’s wind, if it be wild,
Should waste them all.
The crows above the forest call;
Tomorrow they may form and go.
Read the
poem in its entirety.
I'm rounding this one up old-school style, so please leave a note with a link to your offering in the comments. Happy poetry Friday all!
