Celebrating a Poetry Maven

One of my favorite bloggers in the kidlitosphere launched her own blog yesterday. Please welcome Elaine Magliaro to her new digs at Wild Rose Reader. I am so looking forward to all the new and great things I know she plans to offer.

While you are out there celebrating Elaine's new home on the web, stop by Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast and eyeball their latest interview, which just happens to spotlight - you guessed it - Elaine!

  1. Tricia, thanks so much for the mention of my new solo blog, Wild Rose Reader, at Miss Rumphius! I really appreciate it.

Can you tell I enjoyed doing the interview with Eisha and Jules?
By the way, I hope you aren't expecting a corsage when I pick you up for the prom. How about a poetry book instead?

  2. Hi Elaine,
Pencil me in for that date! I am on the lookout for a decent conference in your neck of the woods, with an towards perhaps meeting in person one day. I love good food and good company, so I know we'd have fun and lots to talk about!
    Congrats again on the blog.
    Tricia

  3. Tricia,

I just wrote you a long note--but blogger gobbled it up.

I'll write an abbreviated version of it: Simmons College in Boston is holding one of its fabulous children's literature institutes this summer from July 26-29. I'll be attending for sure--and Grace is going to be leading one of the Professional Connections sessions.

You can print off a brochure from the Simmons College website.

  4. Tricia,

Here is the URL for the brochure. I hope I type it correctly.
