Jarrett Krosoczka's At It Again!

Here is the making of a book Krosoczka style. Bonus points to you if you can name the authors and illustrators in the cameos BEFORE the credits roll.

BOOK BY BOOK: the making of a monkey man from Jarrett Krosoczka on Vimeo.

Fun quotes:
Jarrett is brilliant. Visit him online at the jjk blog.

  1. This is flat-out brilliant - and Tomie should get an Oscar. Ditto Jeanne Birdsall. I'm sharing it with everyone I know.

  5. What a riot! Adam all insecure on the phone, Mo with the Emmys. Master Tomie. OMG.

I knew most of them, but I did not realize that the agent was Jeanne Birdsall. She was brilliant.

  9. I SO needed that! Thanks, Jarrett, Tomie, Jeanne, John, Tony, Jane and all for the reminder that writing and drawing are PHYSICAL acts. Neither one is accomplished by eating fistfuls of CocoaPuffs and fretting!

  10. Found this on the new Kidlitosphere Central. I liked the video so much it's causing me to become inarticulate... Ooh--neato! Can't decide which cameo I like the best: Mo Willems? Jon Scieska (1234567...)? Tomi DiPaola? Mostly I like Jarrett balancing on that rock and having to put his foot down every few seconds--I'm pretty sure there's some symbolism there. Thanks!!!
