Preparing for April - 31 Days and Counting Down

Did you know that National Poetry Month is just around the corner? I've been planning and plotting since the middle of January, trying to figure out how to celebrate this year. Last year's Poetry Makers series (interviews with children's poets) was so much fun to do and so well received that I've decided to do it again. I'm actually quite thrilled that so many of the writers I reached out to said YES. I can't wait to share this with you. I'll be kicking it off on April 1st with a visit from the current Children's Poet Laureate, Mary Ann Hoberman, who will be talking about her efforts to be a Pied Piper for children's poetry.
