Poetry Friday - Tibet

Thanks to Jonathan for the picture of the water burial site on the Bramaputra.

Sorry folks, but I'll have China on my mind for while. Here's an original for you.
Tibetan Dreams
still recovering and
needing sleep
dreaming of clear blue skies
time to
close my eyes
hear the snap of prayer flags
smell the juniper and incense
feel the wind on my face
taste the sweetest clouds
and reach to
touch the sky
Happy poetry Friday, all!

  1. Tricia,

I know exactly how you feel. I had China on my mind for a long time after I returned home from my trip there with my delegation. I was also exhausted and my body needed about three weeks to return to its normal circadian rhythm.

    Love your poem!
