The Carbon Diaries is the only one of these I've read. It was a fascinating read--I'm not sure how much I actually enjoyed it, but it sure was thought provoking. The sequel comes out next week...
ReplyDeleteI heard about this prize, but I don't know any of the winners - I guess because they were published in the US. I'll have to see which ones I can track down overhere. I like the look of Book Links too - thanks for enabling me to discover it!
ReplyDeleteWOOT for The Carbon Diaries! I had to go sit in the cry room during the Cybils because it didn't make the cut for our final five, but once I got into it, I found it intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI don't see how it could have a sequel, though...
Tanita had to go sit in the cry room. I have got to remember that phrasing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this, Tricia. I see a few things here we don't have at WPL that we clearly need.
What wonderful awards! I hadn't ever heard of them before so thank you for posting about it! These are definitely some books I'm going to have to share with my kiddos.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you emailed back with your site info for Share A Story because it's definitely one I'm coming back to. Thanks so much!
