Yes, you heard me. Chicago, here I come! For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, it's the 1st Annual Kidlitosphere Conference, and I am psyched. What I want to know now is, where are the Blue Rose Girls, Mitali Perkins, and my fab blog friend Elaine (also a Blue Rose Girl)? These are just a few of the folks I hope we can convince to join us.
If you're reading this and haven't signed up, do please think about it. I'm sure it will be a grand old time.

YAY! SO looking forward to meeting you!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary Lee. The feeling is mutual!
ReplyDeleteYES!!! :)
ReplyDeleteTricia,
ReplyDeleteI was seriously thinking about attending the first kidlit conference--but the first exhibit event for Robert's Snow 2007 is going to be held on October 6th at the Child at Heart Gallery in Newburyport, Massachusetts. I wouldn't miss that for anything.
I think we should hold the second kidlit conference in Massachusetts.
It IS a nice place to visit--if you don't mind the crazy drivers!
Adrienne - Thanks for convincing me to keep looking for a cheap flight.
ReplyDeleteElaine - Grace and Robert have been on my mind daily since she signed off her blog. I completely understand wanting to be at the opening to support their cause. I'll still miss you. Perhaps we can convince everyone that MA would work for next year. I know I'd come!
We could go to Amherst and visit the Eric Carle Museum: that would be appropriate for a kidlit conference, eh? And Amherst is completely fun.
