Interview With Outgoing ALA President

I'm not a librarian, but that doesn't mean I haven't appreciated the work done by Loriene Roy as the immediate past president of the American Library Association. In this recent interview she gave with NPR, she shares "highlights from her time leading the group, what the future holds for her and one final list of suggested literary "musts" for the inquiring mind."

It's an interesting piece, so do give a listen.

P.S. - In case you were wondering, the new president of ALA is Jim Rettig. I happen to know him quite well, as he heads up the libraries here at the University of Richmond.
