
When he finished the ARC he wrote a thank you note and drew a few pictures inspired by the books.
I love raising a reader. There's just something about sharing the excitement of a new book that always makes me happy.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read this title, but with your son's "pumped up" response, I think I might have to get my hands on it! You are so right...there is nothing better than raising a reader. The excitement you see in a child you teach is one thing, but when it's your own child, it hits deep in your heart! Congratulations and happy holidays. :-)

ReplyDeleteI hope I haven't spoiled the surprise! The original has been winging its way to you, but may be delayed by winter storms. William is still carrying THE BASILISK'S LAIR around with him and selectively reading parts out loud, even though he finished a week ago!
