For my 2017 National Poetry Month project, I honored and celebrated my sister-in-law on the fifth anniversary of her death. In each post, I shared a memory of Pam and focused on the traits she exuded—empathy, kindness, caring, friendship, gentleness, love—and what it means to be human. Each memory was accompanied by a related poem. (There are 24 poems in this project.)
