Poetry Friday - Glass

I've been reading some "new-to-me' poets these days. Ah, how much I've missed! Here's a poem that I particularly like.
Glass

The song
sparrow puts all his
saying
into one
repeated song:
what

variations, subtleties
he manages,
to encompass denser
meanings, I’m
too coarse
to catch: it’s

  1. I love the Ammon's poem, Tricia - "an over-reach / from which / all possibilities, / like filaments, / depend" - how does he go so deep with so few words?
