My poem for Day 5 of National Poetry Month is written to the sheet music cover for Votes for Women: International Suffragists' Song. This is a found poem created with the song's lyrics.
Votes for Women
mothers and maids
foremost toilers of our land
all answer the call
marching as one vast army
liberty under way
