Happy Poetry Friday! For National Poetry Month this year, I am perusing my bookshelves and building book spine poems.
Up in the garden and down in the dirt
a seed is the start
When green becomes tomatoes
my father’s hands
Pick! Pull! Snap!
Tops and bottoms
first, peas to the table
corn
rah, rah, radishes
fresh, delicious
Let’s eat!
